Teaching Experience:
· Instructed individuals on the methods of encaustic painting, pre and post MFA; basic introduction through advanced practice.
· Additionally instructed small informal groups within a university setting: Although Marywood University did not offer students TA positions, significant teaching possibilities were available through informal instruction using discretion. As a master’s students I sought out and offered aid to interested parties; informal teaching practices. Marywood did encourage undergraduates, graduates, and other individuals to interact with master’s program students; however did not require it. Although my teaching practices were informal and without support of any faculty, I feel my own due diligence required more discipline; addressing traditional and contemporary issues.
